In a recent article of the Annals of Internal Medicine, the American College of Physicians (ACP) recommended Spinal Manipulation (Chiropractic Treatment) for acute, sub-acute, and chronic lower back pain. The ACP developed this guideline to present the evidence and provide clinical recommendations on non-invasive treatment of lower back pain.
The ACP is urging all clinicians to select non-pharmacologic treatment over the use of opiods, pain killers, and muscle relaxers where possible.
