Payment Policy

Chiropractic services are provided by Dr. Gefaller. Dr. Gefaller participates in all of the major health insurance plans in the region. The following are the main health plans which we currently accept.

If your plan is not listed, we will still file a claim on your behalf. 

Please be aware that with any health plans, there may be deductibles and copayments for which you could be responsible. Worker's Compensation provides full coverage with no co-pay or deductible. No-Fault Insurance has the same coverage as Worker's Compensation unless you have opted for a health care deductible.

Coverage & Billing FAQs

Do I need to see a referral to see Dr. Gefaller

Although many primary doctors and specialists refer to Dr. Gefaller, a referral is not necessary or required. 

What will my insurance cover?

Most insurances will cover the cost of examination, spinal treatment and any additional  soft tissue, rehabilitation, or treatment of the arms and legs. You will only be responsible for any co-pays and/or deductibles if they apply.

What billing or insurance information will I receive?

After your insurance has paid, we'll send you a monthly statement of your account. Olympus Chiropractic Billing can provide you with a complete bill for services if requested.

Is chiropractic care an affordable option for treatment?

Chiropractic care and other alternative methods for treatment is more affordable than many other expensive alternatives. Click here to learn more.

​I received a notice that my insurance company has paid on my bill -- but I can't understand how they calculated their payment amount. Do you know?

If we have received any such information from your insurance company, we'll be glad to share it with you. However, for answers to any questions about insurance payments, deductibles, or co-payments, you generally need to check with your insurance company.
